Privacy Policy - The Low Budget

1 — WHO WE ARE

TheLowBudget L.L.C-FZ, a company incorporated under the laws of the United Arab Emirates (referred to as "THELOWBUDGET", "we", or "us"), operates the The Low Budget platform at thelowbudget.com.

2 — WHAT WE COLLECT

We only collect what is needed to arrange and deliver your transfer.

Booking details: full name, email address, telephone number and country code.
Journey details: pickup and drop-off addresses including their map coordinates, travel date and time, number of adults, children and infants, luggage count, and any note you add.
Flight information: flight number, when you provide it, so the driver can track delays.
Payment: handled entirely by Stripe. Card numbers never reach our servers; we store only the payment reference, the amount and the payment status.
Contact form: your name, email address and message.
Technical data: the currency you select (stored in a cookie) and standard traffic statistics.

3 — WHY WE USE IT

To create, confirm and deliver your transfer booking.
To send your booking confirmation and travel voucher by email.
To take payment and, where applicable, issue a refund.
To let the assigned driver find you and contact you on the day.
To answer messages you send us.
To keep accounting records required by law.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising profiling.

4 — WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

Your data is shared only with the parties that make the journey possible:

The transport company and driver assigned to your transfer — they receive your name, telephone number, pickup and drop-off details and flight number. They receive nothing else.
Stripe — to process the payment securely.
Google — address autocomplete and maps while you are filling in the booking form.
Our email provider — to deliver confirmations and vouchers.
Public authorities — only where we are legally required to do so.

5 — WHERE IT IS STORED

Booking records are stored on Google Cloud / Firebase infrastructure. Because these providers operate globally, your data may be processed outside your own country under the safeguards those providers apply.

6 — HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

Booking and payment records are kept for as long as accounting and tax rules require. Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. When a record is no longer needed for either purpose, it is deleted.

7 — YOUR RIGHTS

Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data you may ask us to confirm what data we hold about you, to correct it if it is wrong, to delete it where we are not required to keep it, and to object to a particular use. Write to cs@thelowbudget.com and we will respond within the period the applicable law sets.

8 — COOKIES

We use a small number of cookies: one remembers the currency you selected, and the rest are anonymous traffic statistics that help us see which pages are used. No advertising cookies are set. You can block cookies in your browser; the currency selector will then reset on each visit.

9 — CHILDREN

The platform is not directed at children. A booking may of course include children as passengers, but the booking itself must be made by an adult.

10 — SECURITY

Traffic to and from the site is encrypted. Access to booking records is restricted to authorised staff and to the transport company handling your journey. Payment card data is handled entirely by Stripe and is never stored by us.

11 — CHANGES AND GOVERNING LAW

We may update this policy when our services or the applicable rules change; the current version is always published on this page. This policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of the Emirate of Dubai.
